Dynamic ERP Functional Consultant
Responsibilities
- Leading or participating in discovery meetings with clients to understand existing business processes that need integration into Dynamics ERP.
- Conducting GAP analyses to identify discrepancies between the application and business processes.
- Demonstrating software and solutions to potential clients or at customer events.
- Gathering and defining system and software requirements.
- Collaborating with team members to design and architect proposed solutions.
- Documenting workflows and requirements.
- Configuring applications to align with business process definitions, including application customization, workflow editing, and report creation.
- Identifying innovative solutions for processes not fully supported by standard Dynamics ERP functionality.
- Designing, architecting, and implementing integrations and migrations between Dynamics ERP and various products.
- Developing end-user training materials.
- Training users through hands-on methods.
- Providing ongoing support to users, assisting with troubleshooting or additional training via email, phone, or site visits.
- Maintaining and deepening client relationships by delivering high-quality services.
Requirements
- ERP Certified Consultant with proven experience in successfully implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP in roles such as Solutions Consultant, Functional Consultant, or Implementation Consultant.
- Prior experience in consulting, business analysis, implementation, or product support specifically related to Dynamics ERP.
- Ability to manage critical client relationships.
- Ability to adhere to and enhance Microsoft ERP’s Sure Step Methodology.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP 2016 On-Premise and Dynamics 365 ERP online.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP certification(s).
- SQL Server Reporting Services experience is a plus.
- Experience with other ERP platforms like Salesforce, Siebel, PS.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Portals and Liquid templates is a plus.
- Experience with FLOW and Common Data Model is a plus.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently while developing strong working relationships with clients.
- Experience with Dynamics ERP SDK.
- Ability to provide expert advice on features supported by ERP Dynamics.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to share knowledge and mentor junior staff.
