Security Specialist Position - U.S. Army Cyber Command

Role: Security Specialist to support Command Security Manager

Qualifications
Requirements: Current Army DCIPS employee or Veteran's Preference eligibility
- 1+ year of experience in managing security programs (COMSEC, PERSEC, INFOSEC, PHYSEC)
- Experience in security clearances with Defense Information Security System (DISS)
- OR a Ph.D. in a closely related field (e.g., International Relations, Law, Political Science)
Note: Relevant volunteer and military experience will be credited.
Responsibilities
- Administer all intelligence-related security programs for NEC
- Initiate security clearance investigations for NEC personnel
- Develop and implement PHYSEC policies for building and equipment protection
- Ensure compliance with security directives through facility walk-throughs and report deficiencies
Specialized Experience
Applicants must have experience editing personnel records within a security clearance system, such as DISS, and must demonstrate expertise in at least two of the following areas:
- Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Personnel Security (PERSEC)
- Information Security (INFOSEC)
- Physical Security (PHYSEC)
