Responsibilities
- As a SharePoint System Administrator at Würth IT USA, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of our SharePoint online environment, as well as for our SharePoint on-premise farm
- You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our SharePoint platform, enabling collaboration, document management, and efficient workflows for our clients
- This is a full-time hybrid role at Wurth IT USA (3 days onsite)
- SharePoint Setup and Configuration: Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions to meet the specific needs of clients
- Migration: migrate and transform everything on the current SharePoint on premise Farm to SharePoint online, using ShareGate
- System Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain the SharePoint infrastructure, perform system updates, and resolve technical issues
- Support: Support our Customer Success Engineers in change and incident management
- Take care of problem cases
- Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies within the SharePoint environment
- Backup and Recovery: Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard SharePoint data and ensure business continuity
- Performance Optimization: Optimize SharePoint performance, assess system usage, and make recommendations for improvements
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and issue resolutions
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to align SharePoint with business objectives

Qualifications

Wurth IT USA is in the process of identifying its location in Chicago, IL. We will be in one of the northern suburbs, likely in Deerfield/Buffalo Groves/Vernon Hills area. This position requires onsite work 3 days per week. Please note relocation assistance is not provided.
